Finding a Voice

This is the title for our 2012 Lent Course. It’s a new and original series of five weekly sessions using as its starting point the award-winning film The King’s Speech. For further details, click here.

Outsiders might think it’s a town, but speak to the locals and you’ll soon discover that Kidlington is very proud to be a village. It’s a big village, that’s for sure…one of the largest in the UK, and it boasts its own airport, industrial estates, business parks and even a police HQ. But it’s a village

Welcome to Kidlington

nonetheless, with all the sense of ‘community’ that you’d expect to find…and at the heart of that village is Kidlington Methodist Church, situated on the main A4260 Oxford to Banbury road.

This friendly church, part of the Oxford Methodist Circuit, is the focal point for a whole range of community activities ~ from youth groups, to carers groups; coffee mornings to the occasional concert.

Our mission is simple: to love God; to love one another; and to love our neighbours, whoever and wherever they may be.

Get flipping baking for FairTrade Fortnight

Once again we head into Lent and FairTrade Fortnight at KMC with our FairTrade Pancake Party which ... surprise, surprise ... takes place on Shrove Tuesday, February 21. A FairTrade chocolate fountain, a quiz and some mighty fine company is on offer.

Also this year, we’re inviting you to take part in the Great KMC FairTrade Bake-Off....bring along a homemade cake or a tasty dessert containing at least two FairTrade ingredients and our expert team of tasters will put them to the test to decide our FairTrade SuperChef of 2012.... there’s probably a prize for this and we’ll certainly be out to make a shilling or two one way or another! Contact Malcolm for more info. Find out more about FairTrade Fortnight here
