Finding a Voice

This is the title for our 2012 Lent Course. It’s a new and original series of five weekly sessions using as its starting point the award-winning film The King’s Speech. For further details, click here.

Worship is at the heart of all that we do. Our regular Sunday worship is at 10.00am, though occasionally there are services at other times, including an early morning ‘Breakfast Communion’, usually once a quarter.

As is traditional in Methodism, our services are led by a variety of preachers, both lay and ordained, mostly from the Oxford Circuit, though occasionally from further afield.

We aim to offer a variety of worship experiences from the traditional to the innovative, from quiet communions to celebratory chaos.

The worship area has chairs to allow flexibility of use and we now have a full range of audio-visual facilities which are used regularly to enhance our worship.

God of the moon and stars

Several people have commented on the song ‘God of the Moon & Stars’ which was featured in our service on ‘Mercy & Grace’. The song was written by Paul Field. You can hear his original version and see some different but equally challenging images by clicking here
